Nang Kuang Partners with Ferrer to Exclusively Distribute ERTACZO® in Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR
BEIJING Apr. 30, 2024—- Nang Kuang and the Spanish pharmaceutical company Ferrer Internacional, S.A. (Ferrer) have signed an agreement for the exclusive distribution of ERTACZO® (sertaconazole nitrate cream) in Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR. Sertaconazole nitrate is a new broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal agent. ERTACZO® is indicated for the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis in immunocompetent adult and pediatric patients.
Superficial fungal infections affect approximately 750 million people in China, of which 250 million are contracted with tinea pedis resulting in huge unmet need. This partnership opens a new chapter for Nang Kuang portfolio in dermatology.
